  • Understanding the Body and Puberty (Ages 7–12):
Children learn correct body part names, personal hygiene, privacy, and puberty changes like menstruation and voice changes. Focus is on personal safety, safe/unsafe touch, and respect for boundaries.

  • Emotional and Social Development (Ages 13–15):
Early teens are taught about hormonal changes, self-image, friendships, crushes, consent, and dealing with peer pressure. They also gain basic knowledge of reproduction and digital safety.

  • Sexual and Reproductive Health (Ages 16–20):
Young adults learn about contraception, pregnancy prevention, and protection against sexually transmitted infections (STIs/HIV). Emphasis is placed on responsible choices and safe practices.

  • Relationships, Consent, and Respect (Across Ages):
At every stage, sex education stresses respect for self and others, the importance of consent, building healthy relationships, and avoiding abusive or unsafe situations—both offline and online.

  • Life Skills and Responsibility:
The overall goal is to prepare young people to make informed decisions, handle emotions, respect diversity (gender and sexual orientation), know their legal rights, and grow into responsible adults.

9. Sex Education

  • Sex education is a lifelong learning process that provides correct, age-appropriate knowledge and guidance about human development, sexuality, relationships, and safety.
